We are pleased to announce a new titanium-dioxide and magnesium stearate free version of our flagship micronutrient supplement, Daily Essential Nutrients.
From now on, if you purchase a bottle of Daily Essential Nutrients with Added Vitamers 360 Count, the formula will come free of titanium dioxide and magnesium stearate.
While no studies report adverse effects from these ingredients in supplements, many of our customers have requested access to Daily Essential Nutrients without titanium dioxide or magnesium stearate due to popular articles that caution against supplements containing those ingredients. See our article on the safety of these ingredients here.
Titanium is a naturally occurring mineral that comes from the earth and is FDA approved for use in consumer products like food and cosmetics. It comes in the form of a fine, white powder and is commonly used to provide whiteness and opacity. At Hardy Nutritionals, we use it to provide whiteness in the veggie capsule for visual consistency.
As the Daily Essential Nutrients with Added Vitamers no longer contains titanium dioxide, you may notice a difference in the color of the capsule contents. This is nothing to be alarmed about, and is expected without titanium dioxide.
In addition, we have removed magnesium stearate from the same formula due to popular request. In the coming weeks and months, we will also remove titanium dioxide and magnesium stearate from the Daily Essential Nutrients with Added VItamers 120 count and the Daily Essential Nutrients Prenatal formula.
If you prefer to have micronutrients without magnesium stearate and with no titanium dioxide, choose Daily Essential Nutrients with Added Vitamers
